Hotel Omorika has long tradition in congress and symposium organization; did you know that First World Symposium of Astronauts on the subject of Danikan’s book on aliens has taken place right in this hotel? There’s a multifunctional room for business meetings and three smaller rooms - surface can be adjusted thanks to movable doors, with capacity of up to 120 persons. Rooms are equipped with: LCD projector, screen, flip chart, sound system and microphone. Wedding reception can also be organised in hotel Omorika, in wedding reception suite, with capacity of 250 – 600 persons. Hotel Omorika was named after endemic tree – omorika – which is under protection due to the fact that the tree actually dates from Tertiary period.
The tree was discovered by botanist Josip Pancic and therefore in front of the hotel, there’s a statute dedicated to him.
Today, hotel’s interior is combination of modern and retro style. Accommodation units are located on 6 floors of the hotel and are renovated for the season 2016.
